Pathein Catholic Diocese (PCD), which was established in 1954, is located in Ayeyarwaddy Region in the lower part of Myanmar. Pathein is the capital city of the Ayeyarwaddy Region.

ပုသိမ်ကက်သလစ်ဂိုဏ်းအုပ်သာသနာကို ၁၉၅၄ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၎င်းသည် မြန်မာပြည်အောက်ပိုင်းရှိ ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီးတွင် တည်ရှိသည်။ ပုသိမ်မြို့သည် ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး၏ မြို့တော်ဖြစ်သည်။
